The article reminds me of a (true) story I heard about a chimpanzee being trained to pee in a bucket in a zoo somewhere. The chimp realised that she received a food reward every time she peed - so she learned to pee a tiny amount, often... and when she ran out of pee she started spitting in the bucket... I wonder at what point these animals hide in a corner somewhere and laugh like maniacs at the stupidity of their "trainers"? :-)
