Sticks, stones, names
I'm linking to a post I started some days ago but only published today, which you might not otherwise notice. It's about the new security laws in Italy. Here it is. This is a subject I'll be returning to, I just know it.
By the way, I don't know if you're aware of the little "Post Options" button in the lower left corner of the New Post box, but it allows you to change the date and time of any post you've written. So rather than linking us back in time, you could just drag your post up into the future...
Yes, David, it is. The main news stories on the day Berlusconi is found guilty of corruption - having bribed an English lawyer to perjure himself in court - are the resignation of the opposition leader and the arrest of two Romnanians accused of rape. The government is now on the point of passing a law to prevent people from refusing nutrition and water and confirming that the individual's right to die can be overridden by a doctor.

Is Italy going completely off the rails?

I wasn't aware of it, but I am now. Thank you!
