Clearly my problem, Kay! I just think it's the way they're all crammed in together. It ought to be cosy but there's something oppressive about it. Hmm.
I'm not sure I should confess this, but they're actually in a sort of alcove-cum-bookshelf directly above our bed. Even worse, the largest of the bears is called Hackney.
This photograph gives me the creeps. I wanted to share them with you.

It's the ceiling. It IS creepy, claustrophobic and peeling. Also the fact that they're not very nice bears...
