Hi Rob, I watched it change from rain to snow as I came in on the train - by the time I was in Rome it all looked a bit grim, and I thought this photograph captured the less fairy-taley aspect of it. The derelict Mercati Generali look like a set from Cancer Ward!
Exciting, wasn't it? I got caught in a snowstorm in the middle of Circo Massimo, which was something I'd never expected to happen.
